  • Arrive mid afternoon
  • Relax at the pool, get oriented and take in the fantastic views

DAY 2

  • Breakfast at Monyela Mountain Lodge
  • 9:00 Departure for 9:30am Boat Trip on the Blyde dam to explore the Blyde river Canyon and the geological phenomena and scenery around the Dam
  • Visit to Bombyx Mori Silk farm – makers of local silk products.
  • Lunch at the Cotton club Café – a wonderful restaurant at Bombyx Mori Silk Farm
  • After lunch you will be taken to Mkwakwa Curios – a factory where unusual decorative crafts are made out of indigenous seeds
  • Sundowner / Cocktail.
  • 7:30 Dinner at Monyela  Mountain Lodge

DAY 3

  • Breakfast at Monyela Mountain Lodge
  • 8:30 Departure for 9:30 opening of Moholoholo Rehabilitation Center
  • Lunch at Moholoholo Ya Mati – set among sculpture lawns alongside the Blyde River. Walk the grounds and visit the Chapel and also the oldest discovered/recovered Cycad.
  • 3:00 Game Drive at Canyon Game Reserve
  • Sundowner / Cocktails
  • 7:30 Dinner at Monyela Mountain Lodge

Lunch will be at Harrie’s Pancakes in Graskop. After Lunch on to Historic Pilgrim’s Rest, a restored village known for its vitality during the gold rush days. There are several artisans that have gift shops there. On the way back to the Lodge, one can experience shopping at some roadside vendors.

  • Morning walk and talk with Dave Rushworth, the noted Birder and Geologist in the Hoedspruit Area.

  • Relax at the Pool and enjoy the scenic beauty

DAY 6:

  • 8:00 am Breakfast
  • 9:00 am Departure for the Kruger National Park, Lunch (restaurant) and a relaxing afternoon will be at Satara camp
  • 4:00pm Late afternoon drive in the Park for the best Game viewing
  • 7:00pm You’re guide will prepare a Traditional South-African Barbecue (Braai) at your rondavel

DAY 7

  • 6:00 am Early morning Drive in the Park (approx. 2 hours)
  • 8h30 am Breakfast at Satara camp’s restaurant, and spend a relaxing time and shopping in the camp
  • Return to MML via Game drive through the park
